Verse Essential-Ingenious Free Mixtape

My Man Verse Essential just shot this through to my e-mail and I had to share, pure dopeness that you need to get your heads around...

Big ups Verse Essential

in·gen·ious: Clever, original, and inventive.

They say hip hop is dead but that will soon change with debut mixtape "Ingenious" by up and coming Queens rapper Verse Essential. Verse may be new as a solo artist to the hip hop scene but he is ready to earn his stripes. He was featured on both Access Immortal’s, "New York Yankee" project and the cult classic "The 9th Gate." Fast forward to 2010, Verse Essential is ready to make his own mark with Ingenious.

This incredible debut features guest appearances by Vast Aire (of Cannibal Ox), Karniege, C-Rayz Walz, Swave Sevah, Access Immortal, Fess Gotchu, Substantial, J.D. Nero, Melinda Neal and more. With production from Todd Sykes, Karniege, Mesomatic, DJ Ruckspin to name a few. When one looks at the definition of Ingenious, it means clever at inventing things or cleverly made or thought out. Verse Essential and his mixtape shows just that.

Jay-Z To Release Biographical Book

The occult guru himself is planning to release a pseudo-autobiographical book which breaks down some of the history of his past lyrics and how they applied to his life.  The name of the book is entitled Decoded (go figure).  Wondering why this is post worthy?  For the simple fact of his demonic abstract choice in book covers.  Jay-Z chose Andy Warhol's famous Rorschach painting as the cover art for his memoir book:

Seeing as how this is a picture of an ink splotch, let's analyze it like one.  What's the first thing you see?

see it now? The occult god Baphomet

Andy Warhol was a devout occultist who became associated with some of the most elite circles in Hollywood during his time.  Oddly enough, Jay-Z isn't the only music artist who has incorporated Warhol's art into their projects, guess who else admires his paintings?

(1:37, 2:25, etc.)

Although I'm pretty sure this book is nothing but a marketing diversion that will have nothing to do with his occult accusations, it is still intriguing to me that Jay-Z decided to come out with this.  However, I wouldn't recommend anyone going out and spending their money on this literary distraction from the truth.

Song Breakdown: Chris Brown - 12 Strands (Matrix)

Interesting sidenote: A friend of mine told me that he threw a party for Chris Brown at his college a few months ago.  During the party, Chris got inebriated and began to tell him some revealing facts, one of which being that a main problem in his past relationship with Rihanna was that she worshipped the devil.  This would only bring some truth to the theory I heard about Chris assaulting Rihanna because she threatened him to join (would make a lot of since why Jay-Z got involved right?). With that said, it is obvious that Chris Brown's career has been intertwined in the occult in some way, so for him to create a song like this, only solidifies his involvement and possibly trying to get out, which seems to be a rippling effect lately.

The video is actually quite self-explanatory, so there's no necessary analysis for it.  I will, however, provide a proper breakdown behind the significance of some of the lyrics:

"Had an epiphany, that's what it seems/ It's smoking mirrors/ don't wanna believe/ for far too long/ THEY been plotting on me/ the story's unfolding now/ it's a conspiracy"

"starting to feel like it's deja vu/ I remember being here/ it must be a glitch in the matrix/ look around they all/ got the same face on/ I'm standing by the phone/ someone call me"

"Bring me to life, to life, to life, to life/ Show me how to live, to live, to live, to live/ Cause I lose control/ feeling like Neo in the matrix/ I just wanna live"

"I took the red and the blue pill/ now I can't decide whats make believe or real/ Am I awake or am I still asleep?/ it's killing me/ Into the oracle/ I wanted to know/ what I was supposed to do/ She said I'll see on my own/ and the craziest thing is that you already know/ trying to decide where the signs are on the side of the road"

"starting to feel like its deja vu/ I remember being here/ it must be a glitch in the matrix/ look around they all got the same face on/ I'm standing by the phone/ someone call me"

"Bring me to life, to life, to life, to life/ Show me how to live, to live, to live, to live/ Cause I lose control/ feeling like Neo in the matrix/ I just wanna live"

"I took the red and the blue pill/ now I can't decide whats make believe or real/ Am I awake or am I still asleep?/ it's killing me/ I need you/ you gotta help me/ I'm part human part android/ I need your power so you can't judge me/ judge me/ stuck in the matrix/ bring me to life"

In the opening line of the song, when Chris says that "they been plotting on me" it seems as if he is referring to the occult and their plans of possibly tarnishing his career after being vocal against them.  He then follows by saying that the "story's unfolding now" and that it's "a conspiracy" which could be about all of the recent occult affiliated artists being exposed.

When Chris refers to deja vu and how he remembers being where he is now, I believe that he is talking about the Illuminati putting him back into the same position of fame that he was in before the Rihanna beating fiasco, and possibly trying to change him by getting him to fully embrace occult practices.  Here is a further explanation through a clip from the movie The Matrix:

"Deja vu is usually a glitch in the matrix. It happens when THEY change something"

I believe that Chris Brown, like some artists, is not apart of the occult, but is still controlled by the industry elite.  I think for the majority of his career, he has been pressured to pledge his allegiance to them and join their satanic cause.  This conflict of control is seen clearly in the line where he states that he is "part human, part android" meaning that he has a mind of his own but is still under control.  Further down in the verse, he calls for his fans to give him the power to break free from the Illuminati's control of his career, and allow him to be successful without their ominous guidance.  This android-occult control concept has been seen before from many other music artists:

Janelle Monae

Beyonce

Black Eyed Peas

This song is very revealing not only because of its obvious Matrix parallel but also because the song cannot possibly mean anything else.  However, I'm worried to see what kind of backlash will come of him speaking out like this so blatantly.

DJ Dee-Ville Presents...JVC FORCE - Livin' In C.I. (1988-1993)

Those that know me, know that I am one of the biggest (the almighty) JVC Force fans there is (even AJ Rok would tell you this haha) and this mix/compilation by DJ Dee-Ville is mad ill, get your download on and check out the JVC Force official website.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do Public Enemy, EPMD and Rakim have in common? Apart from being three of the greatest acts in Hip Hop history, they all originate from New York's Long Island. Also hailing from Central Islip, L.I.; The Almighty JVC FORCE, stepped on the Hip Hop scene in the late 80's. They quickly signed to B-Boy records on the strength of its Boogie Down Productions affiliation, but after Scott La Rock was murdered, JVC was left without the support system they needed.

*(Jaz: De La Soul, KMD, K-Solo, Keith Murray, The Knucklehedz, Hard 2 Obtain, Son of Bazerk and Sid and B-Tonn, Leaders of The New School, also hailed from Long Island)

Rappers B-Luv, AJ Rok and DJ Curt Cazal should be remembered today with their hometown contemporaries as pioneers and innovators of the Golden Age of Hip Hop. 23 years later, the beats they made remain creative and fresh, Cazal's scratches sound fresher than ever and those slow flow brag rhymes ooze with finesse. In short; this is my kind of Hip Hop.

It's funny how I decided to put this mix together, It started when I randomly found the second JVC album 'Force Field' (released through another ill-fated label; Idlers). This same week my man Aitchski from the X-Squad hit me off with a bunch of B-Boy Records rarities. A couple days later I noticed AJ Rock, putting up youtube videos of old JVC radio promo's.

It had to be, even just for myself, I wanted to hear a full remastered JVC FORCE anthology. Feel free to grab this up and please show the fellas some love over at jcvforce.com

R.I.P. Eyedea...and the return of the Infamous T.R.O.Y. blog...

"I stand alone, burned every bridge over the troubled water, no longer hiding from my personality disorder..."

Sadly Hip Hop has lost another talented artist...Eyedea was an intelligent and thought provoking lyricist and one of a kind, born Micheal Lawson in 1981 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Eyedea became well known for his fierce battle steez and ending up winning the Scribble Jam in 1999 and the Blaze battle in 2000, Eyedea also won top placings at the Rock Steady Anniversary in 2000.

Eyedea made waves when he released the dope single "Pushing Buttons" in 2000 with partner DJ and producer Abilities and followed that up with the dope First Born album released in 2001, that included the single "Blindly Firing" and the cool b-side track "Birth Of A Fish", E & A followed up First Born with 2004's E&A and 2009's By The Throat and Eyedea also released a solo album, The Many Faces Of Oliver Hart: Or How Eye Won The Write Too Think under his Oliver Hart alias in 2002.

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Names New Child "Egypt"

It seems like one thing after another these days.  Apparently,  Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys have just named their new born child, Eygpt.  (So.....Alicia Keys just gave birth to Egypt?  Yeah, that doesn't sound weird at all.)  Now granted there is technically nothing wrong with the name Egypt itself or the place of origin.  However, in dealing with the satanic occult, you must to take into account the masonic correlation of Egyptian culture.  And with this newlywed couple making new friends in dark places, it was only a matter of time before this started happening:
